Little Man Donovan

Here is the handsome Donovan!! I've been photographing him for a few years now. He's the original Harley baby! We always have such a fun session when they comes in! They're one of my favorite families!! Donovan did so good during this session he was a BLAST he looked sooo stinking cute in his little hat. Everything came together so well in this session. We printed a big gallery wrap canvas of this black and white portrait it was so cute I was sad to see it go!! I need to order me one to hang here! I know his momma Sharryl has been waiting and waiting for this blog and Grandma has too!! So without further adieu!!

Merry Christmas To Me!!

One thing to know about photographers is that we love camera gear and accessories. I actually own more camera bags than I do purses! I personally hate to shop for pretty much everything except camera stuff. (My husband is lucky that way ;) ) Now, I LOVE to buy camera gear. I mean really love it. :D It makes me so happy.

The problem being a photographer all the stuff we want is complicated. If your significant other isn't a photographer it's pretty hard for them to pick out a gift for you. Then of course the other issue....Nothing in photography is inexpensive. Fortunately I have lots and lots of friends that are photographers so my husband could always ask **cough cough Shelby for example** what to get me however I'm perfectly okay picking out my own gift! LOL ;)

Let me just say that Christmas has come early and I'm an extremely excited girl because I just ordered the newest most awesome Nikon in the world. YES boys and girls!! THE NIKON D3 is joining our happy family. I've decided to name her Lucy. I am STOKED :D :D :D :D

I can't wait to get her! They haven't started shipping the D3's in the US yet but HOPEFULLY she'll be here before Christmas. :)

I'm so excited to get her that I'm also going to have a fun super sale in January so we can stretch her legs!! :D So stay tuned! I'll post the details soon!!

I also am behind on Blogging!! Yes, I suck I know!! I have done awesome job on getting holiday orders processed and back though!! So my blog might be late but your portraits are on time!! :D I'm going to try to blog more tonight or tomorrow. I just had to share my exciting news!! :D

The Weisberg Family

I finally have a chance to share my portraits of The Weisberg Family! These are the kiddos I went to Florida to photograph! Their mom Karin has been a friend/client for gosh... I hate to say this but has it really been nearly ten years!! We've worked together on many many projects! This is the first time though that I've had the chance to meet her kiddos and photograph them. Let me just say that these kids were AWESOME. In fact her kids are so good I really want to send my kid to her for a little KT training camp! LOL I had a very short trip and was only there for 1.5 days and we managed to do eight sessions. Yes, EIGHT! We have really cute stuff from each of them so I'm doing one massive blog to showcase a few favorites! The approach we took with these sessions was "lifestyle" portraits. We really wanted to show the kids having fun and just being themselves at home with Mommy and Daddy. Congratulations to Karin and Bill as well because they're expecting one more baby in March!! I'm so excited for them!

The Beautiful Heather

Meet beautiful Heather! I'm so glad I finally got to blog her bridals! :D Troy and I photographed her wedding last weekend. It was a beautiful event! It was held in San Antonio. I'll be blogging those soon too. I just wanted to share some of these bridals. She is such a beautiful bride!

The Spriegel Family

Meet the beautiful Spriegal Family. We had a great session! It was a hard decision what to choose! We got some really beautiful photos! Even if I do say so myself! LOL I love the color of these portraits. They've got such a warm feel to them! Here are some of my favorites from our session!!

I'm going to admit something that's really bad! I don't have a family photo of my family!! How sad is that! I'm a photographer and my best friend is a photographer and all my other friends are photographers and I have YET to make us all sit down for a family portrait. I have no good excuse! Every holiday I do lots of family portraits and I'm actually jealous of my clients!! Because I really would love to have a portrait of all of us!! So this year is the year it's going to happen!! After blogging all these family sessions I'm feeling guilty!! I've really got to do this!! As "Mom" otherwise known as the "Family Historian" it's my job and so I'm making it my new mission!
