Celebrate Motherhood - Special Promotion!

Mother's day is upon us. As the family historian's mothers are often left out of the family photo albums. I know that I too am guilty of never being in any family photos. Mom's understand the importance of documenting those fleeting moments in time but yet we often don't make a point to have our portraits taken by ourselves or with our children! It's not until our Mom's are gone that we realize how few portraits really exist. Which is why each year I am offering a very special promotion just for Moms! These very special sessions are offered with NO session fee. (That's a savings of $100!) The purpose of these sessions are to create a beautiful portraits of Mom and to celebrate motherhood. (And yes mom's we retouch!! it's included with all of our portraits!) Grandmothers and children are welcomed in your portrait too! We’ll be happy to take a generation’s portrait however these aren’t formal “family portraits.” If you’d like to include everyone in your portrait then we ask you schedule a regular appointment because these sessions are limited.

Sessions are available Thursday - Saturday April 17th, 18th and 19th. Please call today to schedule your very own special session! Do this for your children, for your legacy. I know that I personally am always trying to loose that extra 20 lbs but that's not a good excuse!! I promise 20, 30 or 40 years from now when your children look back at these portraits of you together they will think, "look at my mom and isn't she beautiful?" Your children will cherish these photos of you! Documenting family history really is important to me and the best part of my job!

I'm sharing a slideshow of some old clients and some new celebrating some of the mothers that I've had the honor of photographing. It's also a tribute to my own mother! More than likely you will have to download the plug it to play it but it's worth it! I hope you enjoy it and will join me in celebrating motherhood! Click the Link below to watch! You can also view the YouTube Version. (it won't be as nice but you won't need the plug in!)

Happy Easter

Another Easter has come and gone. I hope everyone had a very blessed Easter and enjoyed the holiday with their family and loved ones! :)

Easter was so early this year! Seems it just came and went! We had our family over for the holiday and had a great time. The Easter bunny left eggs, toys and of course candy! I ate too much chocolate and now it's back to the diet yet again! LOL At least now though all the good candy holidays are over! LOL I have such a hard time resisting chocolate!! **sigh**

I Just wanted to share a few snapshots from our day... The Easter Bunny brought Guy a Spiderman kite. What we didn't know was that our tree's are kite EATING tree's. LOL

Guy after the tree ate his kite. He wasn't too happy.

Uncle Ronnie must really love Guy to climb that tree and try to save his kite. I was willing to let the tree have it. (Both times) LOL The men however could not let the trees defeat them. **snicker**

Guy realized the climbing tree's was fun! He started on the small tree's...

Then graduated to some of the bigger ones! He's all boy!

It was a lovely day and I'm always reminded to count my blessings. :) I hope everyone else also enjoyed their holiday!

Kendra's Beautiful Bridals

These portraits were taken at Kendra's mother's home out in Lakeway! This beautiful home made for a great setting for these portraits and I've been dying to blog these bridals for a few weeks! Saturday Troy and I photographed Kendra and Jeremy's beautiful wedding at Lakeway Resort. We had a blast! They're such a fun cute couple! I have started processing the wedding and we have some really great stuff from there too! I hope you guys are having a blast in Hawaii! Thanks for choosing us to share your day with you!! :D
