Malena, Lilly & Simon

Wow! For the last few years I've taken portraits of this sweet family. This year they've all grown up!! There were no tears! All smiles and overall just a really wonderful session! Simon and Lilly are cute as pie but what can I say about big sister Malena wow... she has really grown up too! She's always been beautiful but this year she's just blossomed into this gorgeous young lady. I really believe she could model! It was such a fun session and we has so many great images to choose from!! She could be America's next top model!!

The Cornwell's

And baby makes three! Meet the Cornwell's! Yet again another beautiful belly! It's just not fair! It's funny...the week from our session vs. the week from when they came back to view their portraits Darlene's belly totally popped! I love that! It won't be long now!! They're such a sweet couple and are going to make wonderful parents! I can't wait to meet their daughter in a few short weeks! Here are some favorites from the session!!

Okay so in the spirit of the post before this one! I'm posting pictures of me!

Here are some portraits that the amazing Jay Young took of our girl posse!! He was so kind as to spend the evening with us chick photographers at "Texas School." (Which is a week long conference at College Station that I attended this year with some of my very best friends and fellow photographers...) I believe it's really important to attend workshops and lectures to continue my photographic education. Everytime I go to one of these events I'm always left inspired which for an artist is exactly the feeling you love to have!

Happy Birthday Naomi

Meet the beautiful Naomi! It was her birthday last week! She called and wanted to do a session to celebrate her birthday which I think is an awesome idea! She has some of the most beautiful long hair too! I think it's really a wonderful gift to have your portrait taken. Not just for your own memories but as a great keepsake for your children and family to have. A few weeks ago I went to a photographers conference and one night we spent some time photographing each other! We had a wonderful time and I personally loved my images! If you notice my picture to the right on my profile you can see one! Heck I might just post some from our session! LOL Anyway... it was great to have a photo of myself that I really liked! I happy that I get to do that for other people too! I think she turned out simply beautiful! I hope she had a great day!!

Payten & Sean

I love it when that magical moment happens and the moon and the stars align and BAM you get a great picture of a brother and sister together!! Meet Payten and Sean. You may recongnize Payten she's in my online gallery a few times! The first time we tried to shoot Payten and Sean together was when Sean was a new baby. It didn't go so well because Payten was a wee and only 15 or so months old! Old enough to totally be walking and not remotely interested in sitting still! LOL This time... it went beautifully! We have some really beautiful pictures of the two of them!! These photos also show off my new wood floor. My brother in law helped me put in this new floor and so far I'm really loving it!

The Luna Family

Meet the beautiful Luna Family! We photographed a family portrait as well as some baby portraits of their little man! I loved the color of clothing they wore. It looks so good with our green background. We had a hard time choosing black and white or color! Mom initally said she had black and white in mind but the color is really striking!! We had a really fun session I love babies at that age!! They smile on command and aren't scared of strangers yet!! They're a lovely family!!

Handsome Little Aidan

Okay so baby fever is in FULL force! LOL Meet the handsome little Aidan. He's one of our new babies and so cute. He was just three weeks old when we did this session. He makes the BEST expressions with his little eyebrows! I love that second shot where he's looking at me like, "Umm, I think you've taken enough already!" Aidan is lucky to have such wonderful sweet parents too! Sean and Marissa offered to help me with my childcare issues this week which I really appreciate how kind they are!! The Handsome Artie

Meet the handsome Artie! Artie was lots of fun and very sweet! He did all the crazy things I ask my seniors to do and didn't once ask me why! LOL Artie is one of my last senior of the season! It's been a weird year. I think graduation really did sneak up this year because I'm still shooting seniors and normally we're done with our senior season by the beginning of May! Here are a few favorites from the session! I know he's dying to get them on his myspace!! LOL

The Beautiful Amanda

Meet the beautiful Amanda! She is San Marcos High School's Valedictorian! So many congratulations to her! Smart and beautiful!! We also had planned an outdoor session and got rained out too... That's the problem with Texas in Spring. It's been a very wet year!! Which makes me so sad because I love to shoot outdoors. We had great plans for her outdoor session too. :( Anyway, we still had a fun session with lots of great images to choose from. Amanda loves shoes too and had a great collection!

The Beautiful Alyssa

Meet the beautiful Alyssa. She's a San Marcos Senior too! We had planned on doing an outdoor session as well but the weather was not on our side! Which is too bad because I know we would have had a great time and made some beautiful images. Alyssa photographs beautifully! Since we got rained out we did get to do our "aqua locks" session which I always love to do. That's where we get your hair as wet as possible and do some really fun shots! Alyssa is also a referral so we made her some really cool cards too!
