Stephanie's Bridal Portraits

Finally I get to blog Stephanie's bridals!! It always kills me when I shoot bridals and I can't show anyone the images until after the wedding! LOL We had so many weather issues that we decided to do a studio session instead of an on location session for these bridals. Which in the studio you don't have to worry about rain or mud! Stephanie makes such a beautiful bride! I love her dress! Here are a few favorites from the session. She choose this first one to display at her wedding! It looked beautiful!! Just like she did!!

Stephanie & Junior - April 26th Wedding

We had the pleasure of photographing Junior & Stephanie's wedding on April 26th! Happy Birthday to Stephanie too! It was her birthday I think the next day as well! The wedding was held at Texas Old Town in Kyle! It's a beautiful venue! I love all the wood. It has a great country feel to it. We were blessed with great weather and lots of sunshine. Stephanie is such a beautiful bride! I can't wait to finally blog her bridal session too! I'll do that soon! This is such a fun family to hang out with! I've photographed them many times now and each time I always think how sweet they all are! I wish I had a big family! I had a very hard time narrowing down which favorites to show! Of course to get a real feel for how beautiful this wedding was you must watch the slide show! My shooting partner Troy and my good friend Melissa Miller joined me for the wedding! Much thanks to them! It was a blast!

Crazy Busy!!

Hey Blog Readers!!! You know I love you all! I promise to blog soon! It's been SO busy!! In fact we've been busier the last two months that I was at Christmas!! :D Busy is good but it does mean that I get behind on blogging! Sneak Peek For Sarah & Troy

I wanted to give Sarah & Troy a quick sneak peek of their engagement session! We met out in College Station where they both went to school and had a great session! A&M is a beautiful campus! Here are a few quick favorites! Much more to come! I'm excited to be photographing their Dallas wedding in October!

A Very Special Promotion

I admit it. I love all things girly! Glitter and Pink make me happy!! I also always loved dolls growing up!! I've had the idea to offer these "Smile House Doll" portraits for some time now but I've finally had the chance to promote them! It's been a super crazy busy spring!! I must say the motivation was all the pretty prom dresses I've seen this year!

So we've got this awesome life sized "doll box"! We want you to grab a few friends and join us for an afternoon of all things girly and fun! Bring a few outfits if you like! You could be a cowgirl or a punk rock doll! What ever doll fits your personality!! Teens, Tweens, and Kiddo's welcome! Remember the accessories!! They'll make your portraits even more fun!

There is no session fee for this afternoon of fun! Collections start at $45 for one pose. Here are some fun sample ideas to get the juices flowing! We are taking appointments for this session but if you want to bring friend that doesn't have an appointment please do! :)

We're also going to offer another promotion soon called "trash the formal" which is where we take that old prom dress or formal and go somewhere fun and photograph in unique and cool places!! (More on that to come!)

Out of the office

I am out of the office for a few days! Shelby and I are going to New Orleans for a photography workshop! I'm so excited about going!! I always try to go to few workshops each year! They're always fun and really I still love learning about photography. I'm always looking to improve my craft and skills and workshops are a great way to interact with other professional photographer and see what trends are going on! I will have limited access to email... I will try to reply if I can get access! Phone calls will be returned on Tuesday!! :D

Meet beautiful Jody & Katie! They joined us for our Mother's Day special! And... I'm also photographing Jody's wedding in September! (See the engagement sneak peek below!) Jody and Katie have such a sweetness between them! They were a blast to photograph! My favorite image from the session is the one when Jody was swinging her around and her hair was flying! Jody also loves B&W... which most of my clients know that I am ALL about B&W!! If you ask me which I'd to do color or b&w 9 times out of 10 I will say... do it in Black and White!! Her album looks SO beautiful!! So without further adieu....
