Catarina and Stormy

Catarina is another one of my favorite babies that is growing up too fast!! I first photographer her at 3 months old... and now she's sooo big!! **sniff sniff** This is her with Stormy. Stormy is 17 years old and not doing so well so we wanted to make sure we captured them together. We didn't have the best weather but Stormy was very tolerant! He let us move him all over the place! Catarina is so sweet with him too. Here are some quick ones from our session.

My Sweet Baby Boy

Well he's a big boy now! LOL People always ask me about portraits of my son! Well I do them pretty often so I would say that he is slightly over photographed but as most photographers will tell you it is VERY difficult to photograph your own children! The beauty of taking pictures of other peoples kids is usually they will do what you ask them to... not so much with your own kid. LOL Last weekend we visited a good friend and fellow photographer Shelby Lane and she took some portraits of us together! Then we tortured our kids by making them pose for lots and lots of photos. They were troopers though! I'm still working on those images but here is a quick one of us together. :)

Expecting

Meet the beautiful expecting Linda! I love to do maternity sessions. There really is someting to that whole "pregnant women glowing" thing. We have some beautiful images from our session. This one is one of my favorites! I'd post more but I need to check with her first! This beauty was a brave soul!! I love when people say, "You're the artist create whatever you think is best"!

The Boyle Family

Here are my favorites from the Boyle family! Baby Brandon is one of my favorite babies! He's so sweet and very expressive. He raises his eyebrows when you talk to him and just smiles! You'll find lots of photos of him throughout my baby galleries! I love his valentine Cupid images! I just love babies in wings!

Miss Bianca Nicole Smith

LOL No it's not "Nicole Smith" but her Momma and Auntie Jen call her that! This is miss Bianca. I cannot get over how big she is now. The first time I photographed her she was 3 weeks old and now she's three years old! It's funny she's one of my hard to make smile kids and this time she did so good! We have so many awesome images of her! She's turning into a little lady **sniff sniff** all my babies are getting so big!

Reeve and Ellie

This is Reeve and her new puppy Ellie! This was a really fun session! Ellie is a Chiapoo ( I think that's how you spell it) She's part toy cup poodle and part Chihuahua. She was a really cute dog and she loves her "Mommy" Reeve! I tried to bargain with Mommy Reeve... I offered her everything in Treasure Box in exchange for her new puppy but she wasn't having it! LOL Reeve is also a HUGE Texas Fan! So we have lots of HOok'Em HOrns shots too! Of course we also did a classic mother in daughter portraits too! Beautiful aren't they! Here are a few favorites from that session!

The Show Stopper

In every session there is that one image that just totally steals the show! This is Taylor's show stopper and one of my new favorites. She's so pretty and expressive and only five years old! Looking at this photo is like a glimpse into the future. I love simple classic portraits! She's got that amazing platinum blond hair too! I love it and I'm jealous!!

Gentry and Cake!

I can't believe it's almost February already! This month has just flown by! Actually this entire year has flown by! This is Gentry! I remember meeting him for the first time and he was so tiny! Now he's about to be 1 year old! We did our Cake collage with him! He was so funny! He had no issues digging into that cake! Some babies that don't like to be dirty get a little upset when things get messy! Not Gentry! He loved the icing too! His mom Niki has the most amazing red hair too!! Here are some new favorites of the Hood Family. I got to photograph them when they were pregnant with their first son Deaubry! Now they're on baby number two! I'm so honored to get to capture this maternity session as well! I really appreciate they drove from their new home hours away! I've order a large canvas print for my studio gallery! I can't wait to get it! I'll post a picture of it when I get it hung!
