The Heinish Wedding

Candice and Gunnar tied the knot on 09-08-07. Isn't that a great date for a wedding! The wedding was held at Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley. It was the first time for us to shoot there and let me just say this venue was simply beautiful. Not only was it beautiful but the wedding event itself went very smoothly. The staff of Old Glory Ranch know how to host a wedding! Every detail is covered! Troy and I followed the bride and groom as they prepared for their big day. I really love to do storybook coverage with my weddings. It's funny how when you're in the moment of your wedding the things you forget because it all comes and goes so quickly. It's the details that I think help us to remember that day. I'm going to post some favorites from the wedding but I'm also going to share the engagement, bridal and wedding slideshows. I hope you'll enjoy them! You will need to install the plug-in to view these. If it takes a long time to load then come back later and try again! :)

The Beautiful Candice

I have been waiting to blog this session for a few months. Meet the very beautiful Candice. She really is beautiful inside and out! We photographed her wedding on Sept. 8th. and I'll share those photos in the next blog. This summer of course had been so weird with all the rain. Candice choose an amazing dress she knew she really wanted an on location session we decided on the Driskill Hotel in Austin. Troy and I were stoked! First no worries about rain and second it was air conditioned and lets just say a sweaty bride is not a happy bride! LOL The location was perfect! She couldn't have been more beautiful! Her dress was from Serendipity Bridal in Austin. If you're looking for a great dress please visit them! They have amazing dresses. Here are just a few of the favorites. I had many that I really loved. In my next blog I'll post the link to her slideshow because it's just too beautiful not to share!!

Debbie's "Mini Me"!

I got a phone call from Debbie asking me to photograph her daughter Jeanene in a pose that would match a photo that was taken of herself at the same age. She said that she and her daugher looked very much alike. Boy she wasn't kidding!! It was a fun session to recreate this image. I'm not sure you can tell it so well on the blog but even their teeth match the same shape!! Then there was Rosie! Sweet puppy rosie!! LOL So we had to do some portraits with her too! Jeanene did a great job holding her she really had other plans. The last image is my favorite from the session! She's so cute! I see Jeanene in the morning's when I drop my son off at school they both go to Wonderland. Jeanene is just the sweetest child she always says hello to me. :)

The Quartutci Kiddos

Meet the cute Quartutci ( I hope I spelled their name right) kiddos! I love Layla's curls!! Man I have baby fever and every time a photograph a little girl in a tutu it makes me want one!! LOL Here are some favorites from the sessions. I love that Katie their mom picked out the one of them lying on the floor looking at each other. That was one of my favorties too. Of course grandma's sometimes will say "Why can't I see their faces?" LOL Sometimes it's not about the faces smiling at the camera and I really appreciate when another mom "gets" that! :)

The Handsome James

Okay so James is OFFICALLY my last senior of 2007! LOL He graduated in the spring and this fall started at Texas State. He didn't have a chance to get his senior photos done when he graduated! Better late than never! James had really cool hair he had this natural highlight at his crown! My son has one too but his is way cooler. Here are a few from the session!

Happy Birthday Baby & Some Sad News

Today is my sweet boy's birthday! I can't believe he's FIVE! I have no idea when he got soooo big. We are so blessed to have this sweet boy in our lives.

And now the sad news....yesterday Morning my husbands Grandmother Betty Wootan passed away. Grandma lived in San Marcos for much of her life. She loved children. Many people knew her from the Day Care Center at the Baptist Church that she ran. She was well loved and will be missed greatly.

Here is a picture of my boy and his great grandma on his very first birthday.

I know I know I know
